Airdrop (Possible to change destination?)

Going from High Sierra to Big Sur, Airdrop puts everything into Downloads.
But can the destination be changed to Desktop?
Thanks in advance for comments.

In fact, I had already seen that rigmarole and decided that I didn't want to know!
I was hoping there'd be an easier way within 11.1.
So I'll leave things as they are.

I agree. I would rather my Air Drop files go to a specific folder other than downloads, but it seems Apple has other ideas. :)
