So, having been used to mouse scrolling, I'm noticing scroll stutter with the trackpad while holding down two fingers and scrolling; flicking doesn't have the stutter, so it's not the computer or browser causing the issue.
I think the issue is that macOS is overly-aggressive tracking finger movement while two-finger scrolling, so instead of being a smooth scroll, it stutters. I'm not seeing how to improve this behavior (its "intelligence"?).
I'd prefer not to flick to scroll, as it can often be too little or too much. When I've used MacBook trackpads, they don't have two-finger on-press scroll stutter; so I'm sort of wondering why this is behaving differently. Everything else about the trackpad works like the MacBook built-in trackpads.
Note that I've currently got the trackpad plugged into the Mac charging, but the touch connection is connected wirelessly (Bluetooth). I think it only ever tracks movement through the wireless connection, and I don't think it does that through wired, though that might be nice to know if it can (in case the wireless part stops working right).
