Is there any way or setting to

1. paste the word in the terminal by clicking the right-key of the mouse?
2. auto copy the word I select in the terminal ?

or any more convenient way to do this?

thanks :Smirk:

I don't see the problem. I just tested copy/paste in Terminal, both in and out of the Terminal window, and I had no trouble at all. It worked selecting with the left mouse button dragging to highlight, then using the right mouse button menu to select Copy and Paste. I moved text into and out of Terminal just the same as I would in any other case.

Sorry, I'm totally unfamiliar with that kind of paste function. In my experience, secondary or right click always brings up a contextual menu of choices. I don't know of any "automatic" single click paste function. Where are you getting this from?

Once you have selected some text, you can drag it and drop it using only the primary or left mouse button. That effectively "pastes" it into your target location. Is that what you're thinking of?

Way... way too many specs to list.
I believe iTerm will mimic 'highlight copy' and 'middle click paste' that's common in other OS's terminals.
