I’m using an iPad Pro with a Logitech BT keyboard.
The spell check/auto-correct feature does not work.
I’ve checked the settings in both the Pages app and keyboard settings on my iPad.

Any suggestions on where to look next please?

Thanks for any direction.

So you do have Settings/General/Keyboard/Check Spelling turned on (Green)? You referred to keyboard settings, but weren't specific.

Yes, all settings are green.
Both in the Pages app and the iPad settings.

Spell check/correct works if i use the keyboard on the pad.
Something else interesting i just noticed typing this. I'm using esentially the same BT keyboard on my Mac Mini, the auto-correct is not working here either. At least on the computer a word spelled incorrect will have a red line under it but it is not correcting it. So, I now believe it's a keyboard thing...somehow.

It seems that a very similar problem has been going on for several years now:

And still is, even with more recent iOS systems:

Unfortunately, I did not come acros s propper solution for the autocorrect problem with third-party wireless keyboards. That is pretty pathetic on the part of Apple and the third-party Wireless keyboard makers.

Holy Cow Patrick...thanks so much!
I'll pass this along to my bubble of friends also. We've all tried to find a solution with no luck, obviously, otherwise we wouldn't be here.

Thank you, and thanks all, for your time and help.

That's great and I'm happy to help. Or at least try...

After reading your comments and the situation, I couldn't help wonder if a third party like Grammarly couldn't help seeing that the other companies aren't coming forward to do anyting.

Well it looks like a quick Google search has provided some possible good answers and solutions and using Grammarly with a third-party wireless keyboard:

To check out Grammarly:

And for some Google hits and using it with a wireless keyboard with an iDevice:

I hope that some of these suggestions might help your's and your friend's auto spell check etc. typing situation.

PS: disclosure: yes I am a paying user of Grammarly but have no involvement or financial interest with the company. I just appreciate using it along with some dictation (voice to text) software I use due to some handicapps which affect my hands and typing fingers.

Thanks for the suggestion Patrick. I would like something with auto-correct to save time. Sometimes my fingers get ahead of my slow mind so having a some backup would save time. It may be worth my time to create there then copy/paste to Pages. I’ll check it out.

Thanks again Sir

After doing a bit more quick Google searching again, I don't understand why auto-correct using Pages on an iOS iPad with a wireless keyboard isn't working...

I guess I'm misunderstanding something or there is something wrong with the setup you have:

See what Apple has to say here:
and the geek info here:

If the auto-correct was not working when using a wireless keyboard, I would expect to be reading and finding a lot of users complaining with a Google search. But maybe I am just missing something... but it seems it would be a rather basic feature for me.
