Just recently due to security considerations I wondered if it might be a good idea to stop using my gmail address for my Apple ID. It's the first and oldest email address I own and of course it's been listed in multiple security breaches over the years.
So, I got to wondering if I shouldn't have a dedicated email address with Apple for my ID, one that I don't use for anything else.
From what I have read it's easy enough to change the primary email address associated with my Apple ID on any trusted device but first I have to have one to change to.
So how do I go about creating a new Apple email address or is it part of the same process?
I realise I'm going to have to do a lot of signing out and signing back in.
