Change of Font in Contacts

Does anyone know whether you can change the look of contacts. I want to be able to increase the size, change the font, and underline or bold. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I know I can do it in Notes, but tried changing font. It shows for about 2 seconds, then reverts back to the original.

Can anyone help?

If you're referring to the built in "Contacts.app" in OS X, it will default to the system font and does not allow attributes such as underlining, bold, etc. You can always export your contact list to a word processor or even TextEdit where you can use font attributes. However, that may not be convenient and involve more work when writing email or other messages where you need to access the contacts.

Try a search in the App Store for "Addressbook" and/or "Contacts" and have a look and there might be something that suits you and can handle some text modification. They will probably be commercial but may be worth the price if it worked for you.

I must admit that Apple's Contacts.app could sure use some upgrading or even providing something in the preferences and text display departments.

Reviews of the older version of "Contact Book" sound good, but I've never used it, and didn't bother looking at any others. But maybe have a look.
