I need to use a terminal command to check if the firewall is ON or OFF. I've looked everywhere and I just can't find a command to check this.

Does anyone know of one?

Thanks!

Well if you are running a late verion Operating System go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall. Apple's default is Off, but should you use Internet Cafes and Hotels by all means activate it.
