Classic environment not working for heroes 3

ok so i ordered heroes three complete for mac the other day on amazon and it came. when i tried to install it a message popped up saying the following:

"you cant open the application install heroes 3 complete because the classic environment is no longer supported"

What does this mean and is there ANY work around or ANY way to get this working?

It means that you need to install the Classic Environment before the game will run.

You may need to use SheepShaver in order to install an emulation of the Classic Environment. It's open source and free. I'm not familiar with it having never used it. Stick around, you should get more replies from the old hands here who are more familiar with running the classic environment.

SheepShaver should work but can sometimes be flakey with games when running OS9 within. Download it and set it up, you'll need to get hold of a copy of OS9 (or 8 if that's what the game requires - try e-bay) and then go from there.
