Com.apple.disk management.disenter error 49153

I am getting this error message when trying to mount my Toshiba external drive. It is about 3 years old or so and I am mounting it to a Mac Pro laptop 2 years old with Ventura on it. What would cause this issue? I use this external for my photos in Lightroom. This message came up when I looked at disk utility. I know very little about this stuff. :-( and apple was no help.

Have you tried a Google search on the message you are getting and maybe add Mac to the front, ie, try searching this phrase, but use no quotes:
"Mac Com.apple.disk management.disenter error 49153"
