Combining Slideshows in Photos

I have several slideshows created in Photos and I would like to combine them into a single slideshow. Is there a way to do that without having to add the individual photos into the new slideshow? I've added text to the existing slideshows and I don't particularly want to go through that again.

This is a good question. A cursory look would suggest the answer is "no," but there is a workaround I can think of: export the slideshows as movies, then join them together or edit them together in iMovie.

Thanks chas_m. I'll give that a shot. I don't know if the Ken Burns effect will carry over but that's not that big of a deal.

The slideshow should convert over exactly as you made it, but you may need to add "timings" to your slides before exporting so that iMovie understands how long each slide needs to be on screen.
