Hi everyone. Hope all is well :)

I have recently been giving the iPad version of FCP a go with the monthly subscription making that a bit easier.

To make the overall experience better I've connected my iPad Air (I think it's a 5th generation one with the M1 chip) to my monitor

Is there any way of getting the display to scale properly on the 27" 4K monitor? I've tried connecting with with both the TB / USBC port and HDMI (via a hub).

thanks, Nick

Is there anything in this video that gets you closer to what you want to do?

Starting at about 1:30 he talks about the need for using a keyboard dock. It seems like he means using an external keyboard. I'm not 100% sure but this might be important to things to behave properly.

Until I read your post I hadn't thought of doing this. If things don't go haywire later today I'll try to experiment with this a bit ad see if I can work something out.

thanks slydude :)

firstly apologies for not replying sooner - my health is not the greatest right now, and I broke a rib the other night just stretching!

consequently I've not had a chance to have a further look at my iPad set up, but I'll watch the above and report back :)

just off to the wifi forum - my M2 Pro Mac mini has seemingly given up!!
