Deleting favorites in Maps

Hi, in Apple Maps, I'm unable to delete a favorite address. I click on Edit, then the address, but there's no delete function shown. Can someone advise?

They are not favorites, just recents. You can delete ALL of them with the clear button at the bottom of the list of recents, but it's history, not favorites, so you can't delete just one, AFAIK.

AH, I was thinking of the Mac version, not iOS. In iOS, just swipe to the left on the favorite and the Delete button appears.

It looks like Favorites is populated by location, as well as places you've added. Only my Home and Work addresses are able to be deleted.

@Scottrsinpt, you may have to turn off Siri suggestions to delete those.

Sorry, but I think you'r mistaken. On my home page (in maps) There is a field for "Recents' and 'see all' on the bottom. The one I want to delete is not there.
In the middle of the screen is a field for favorites, with a 'see all' option on the right. When I click on that, the address I want to delete comes up, and I don't see an option to delete it.

As I said, I was thinking of the Mac version. Assuming that by "home page" you mean the main screen on the iPhone or iPad, the "See All" is not at the bottom but the top. So maybe it would help if you said what device and what version of iOS or iPadOS you are running so we can eliminate the miscommunications? Or are you using Safari to get to Maps at iCloud?

Okay; I should have indicated when I posted. using iphone 8 Plus, ios.14.6. I wasn't sure of the nomenclature, but by "home page" I meant that page that first comes up in Apple Maps, showing my location on the map. Thanks

Tap See All for either favorites or recents, whichever you want to delete. Swipe to the left on any entry. The delete button appears on the right. Works for favorites and recents.
