You must be joking!
What on earth is this? I have recently done a complete clean install of Big Mac on my iMac Pro and every couple of days I get this message when I reboot. In older posts on the web it has been associated with XCode, which I have never used and it is not installed here.

Anybody know more?

Alan

Hi Alan. That screenshot looks like a Windows’ exec function. It’s many years since I was actively involved with Windows so it may be best to wait for more learned opinion on that.

According to the post referenced below, “the most likely explanation of what's going on is that the developer of an app that you installed has enabled a debugging feature which triggers this message. The setting of this debug setting on a public release version may have been an oversight …..” .

I guess you will need to check any apps you’ve installed recently or any that have been updated.

Hi Applescrumpy (haven't had any of that for years. Next time I visit Somerset/Devon I'll look forward to some...the family are from Devon.)
I saw that discussion too. Trouble is, it's fairly old and the Terminal work around (sudo dscl . append /Groups/_developer GroupMembership <username>) didn't want to work. I then tried the simpler alternative (DevToolsSecurity -enable) and the OS accepted that. Now I'll have to see if that worked.
