I noticed it's absence in macOS Monterey but didn't pay much heed at the time, I just thought it must be somewhere else, other than via Network Preferences where you could access it prior to macOS Mavericks or inside the Applications > Utilities Folder as it was later to be found.

Obviously it's hardly something I use every day but imagine my surprise when I discovered that Apple deprecated Network Utility back in macOS Big Sur.

I no longer do Mac IT Support but for those who still dabble the good news is that you can still have this valuable diagnostic tool in macOS Ventura so long as you, or somebody you know still runs macOS Catalina.
See this article from OSXDaily for details; Get Network Utility on macOS Ventura, Monterey, & Big Sur

So, if you have an older device still running macOS Catalina you might just want to grab a copy of Network Utility before you upgrade or sell the device.

And for those who are wondering what use it may be to them, they could have a read here:

Luckily I have an old MBP in Australia running High Sierra so I might just grab a copy for my new one when we go back after Christmas.

I was really surprised to read some of Apple's support articles that are advocating a user usees Terminal and its various commands as a replacement for the missing Network Utility the later Mac OS versions removed. What a scary thought...

WT..., is Apple turning into a code using OS and ditching the GUI of some of its applications or utilities???

But it seems some are recommending a third-party utility:
Network Toolbox for Mac

Maybe you and others might want to check it out.

I didn't bother checking out any other details about it, but I don't need it or any other utility you like it either.

Thanks for the feedback Rod and I'm glad to hear it works well. It's been several months since I posted that and it's too modern for me to be able to use but then again I still have the old Apple version available when and if needed in OS X 10.11, El Capitan.
.

It's nice that third-party Developers produce some good software and utilities to replace what Apple might remove from their more recent OS installs.

But it has been several months since I posted that and it's too modern for me to try, but then again I still have the old Apple version software to use in the old OS X 10.11: El Capitan that I ended up using.
