Duplicate file finder needed

I want to clean up my MBP drives in preparation for upgrading to a new MBP by deleting unnecessary files, especially duplicate files. Does anyone know of a reliable duplicate file finder that will allow me to put the duplicate files into a folder on my MBP instead of putting them into Trash? I have Duplicate Detective that will find dupe files but will not delete them because of an issue I'm having with one of two internal drives. Pls see https://www.mac-forums.com/threads/delete-files-without-entering-a-password.359986/ for info.
OR, if someone can suggest a manual method of finding duplicate files I'd be interested in that as well.

Give Tidy Up a whirl. I haven't used it in some time so I don't recall some specifics, but I do know it's pretty robust in what it can do.

Araxis Find Duplicate Files https://www.araxis.com/find-duplicate-files/ will do exactly what you want but only finds exact matches (irrespective of file names). PhotoSweeper (from overmacs.com) on the other hand will find 'near duplicates' as well as exact matches, but only for images. Both applications will allow dupes to be moved to a named folder. I have been using both for some years very successfully and can highly recommend.
