Hi,

I recently purchased an easycap dc60 to use with my early 2006 iMac. i have it plugged into a usb port and the green light is lit up, but everytime I launch easycap viewer, gives me this error message:

"no supported capture hardware was found. please connect easycap dc60 to your computer. please note that easycap dc60+ is not suppoted."

any help is appreciated :)

What OS version are you running on your iMac?

Thanks for the OS info. Firstly...are you sure the Easycap DC60 is compatible with Macintosh computers? When I searched...I was finding various models...the DC60, DC60+, and DC60++. The info I found seemed to indicate that the DC60 was not compatible with Mac computers (the DC60+ was).

Also...OS requirements I could find for Mac's & the Easycap products...mentioned up to OS 10.5.8. I couldn't find anything that said that the Easycap products were compatible with OS 10.6 and above.

The advice I can suggest is...visit the Easycap website...and see what they say for Macintosh compatibility, OS requirements, and the latest drivers.

HTH,

- Nick
