Everything was fine until a short time ago, and I no longer get audible signals of incoming emails or texts on my iPhone, MacBook Pro or Apple Watch. I didn't mess with any settings and checked them all to the best of my ability. I've powered everything down and up; no change. I really miss incoming email notifications because if I'm expecting one, I have to check my laptop over and over to see if it arrived.

You will need to provide more information to make they go easier and somewhat faster. Or we will have to ask questions, and then wait for answers. The more detailed information the better. We are not there with you seeing what you see.

Info about devices model, model year, os version?
Connection types?

My iPhone is an SE version 18.3.2, Apple watch is a version 9, and the laptop is only a few years old. My fam just blasted a bunch of texts, which my watch picked up on as well as the laptop but not the phone. I know it's older tech but it was working fine just a few days ago.

There was a problem raised on the Apple Community site recently about the audible warning for emails on iPhones, using the Apple Mail app, after the latest updates to IOS18. I also suffered from this and it appeared that Apple acknowledged a possible problem, which they were looking into.

The solution that worked for me, and many others, was to delete the email app and reinstall it from the app store.

Excellent advice. Over the years, I've occasionally come across an App that didn't seem to work properly and the "delete/reinstall from App Store" has nearly always been successful.
