Hi

I've only had a mac for about 4 months and one really annoying problem for me is that I can't figure out how to see video resolution for files. I have 300+ videos on an external hard drive but when I view them in Finder there is no option to see the resolution. I know that you can see it in 'Get Info' but only for mp4 files.

Basically how can I find out the resolution of avi and mkv files? Also is it possible to see the resolution as an additional column in Finder in list view?

Thanks

PS I have a MacBook Pro 15" Retina with 10.8.2 installed.

There is no option in Finder to display the resolution.

Can't help further because I do not have any files of those types on any of my computers.
