I have used most of the big names, and I have to say that my favourite is Cyberduck. Transit is pretty great too, but Cyberduck wins for being cheaper (and a couple of other features).

If you use Firefox, there's the great FireFTP extension which bakes in a fairly comprehensive FTP client.
