How can I make grid lines in Numbers darker? When I print a table/spreadsheet the grid lines print so light/faint I can barely see them. I've tried everything.

Click on the Format button in the top right corner. Then in the section for Table Outline change the thickness from 0.35 to 0.5 and see if that's better.

That procedure only changes the outline. (The top, bottom, left and right border lines) It does not change the center gridlines

Oops, you're correct. It's the one below titled Gridlines that will change the internal lines. Sorry about that.

Sorry, that doesn't't seem to work either. But,

under the Format button select Cell, an that controls the lines for all cells or just the selected cells. Test for best fit.

That only allows me to change one cell at a time. I cannot figure out how to change them all

@ferrarr is right about the cells. You can also use Ctrl or Command + A to select all of them. Then, you can go to Format > Cells and adjust the line thickness for all the selected cells. This way you don't have to do it one by one. Also, please ensure your printer settings are not set to "light" or "draft" mode, as this could also affect how the lines are printed.

Sadly, that did not work. I went back to Excel for Mac. The reason I tried Numbers (again) is that Excel will only print 1 copy regardless of the number of copies to print that I set it to. To me, Numbers is weak and illogical to use, compared to Excel. Sorry Mac fans.

Open a new spreadsheet and ‘select’ it all.

In the side bar select Cell. Go down to Border and select the top right option then Styles.

May I suggest a Google suggestion:

Or alternatively, repost with all your Mac's details and printer settings.

That screenshot shows that only one copy is being requested to be printed.

But you did say you have tried other numbers, and still only got a single copy printed.
Just double-checking...
So, I guess something else is amiss.

I have tried printing multiple copies many times. 6. 10,15. Whatever. Excel will only print one copy. I updated my Mac OS to Ventura 13.4. (the latest) I updated Excel and all MS Office apps. I restarted the Mac and the printer. (but the printer is fine because it prints multiple copes of other docs). I always backup. I have an external HD connected and run Time Machine. And I have all docs stored on this 27" desktop Mac and a MacBook Pro.

Are both the MBP and iMac running the same versions of OS and Excel? Also, are both having the same issue printing one copy?

Yes both on same macOS and yes, the printer will only print ONE copy, of any Excel doc, regardless of how many copies I request in the Print window.

That certainly seems strange, but what about trying printing to PDF first and then see if you are able to print as many copies of that PDF as you want.

If that works, that should give you a work around solution and you could go back to using Excel again. Or print out the single copy that seems to work, and then drop it into your scanner and print as many multiple copies as you want.

Have you tried any of the suggestions from the hits of the link I posted previously?

Obviously, there is a problem somewhere for so many to have a similar problem. It's just rather annoying having to try to figure out what the problem is.

Maybe check and see if there is an option that any 'collated' options have been set or need to be unset that's some users sound worked as a solution:
selecting that copies be printed 'collated' (i.e. pages 1,2,3,..,1,2,3,...,1,2,3,...) rather than 'uncollated' (i.e. pages 1,1,1,...,2,2,2,...,3,3,3,...).

Maybe it just might work...

Good workaround. I saved it as a PDF to my Desktop and it will print as many as I request. MS Word works fine/normal. Word will print the number of copies I ask for. I did an MS Office Update but that did not fix Excel. I thought maybe I owed MS some money but my Subscription is paid up to date. -:)
