I just finished downloading a bunch of files (a folder), and was surprised after opening it. This was the file listing I saw in the folder (I only included the extension, not the file name. Also, I didn't included every file, as they are mostly all the same, they just go up 1 #):

.r00
.r02
.r04
.r05
.r06
.r07
.r08
.r09
.r10
.r11
.r12
"
"
"
"
"
.rar
.sfv
.nfo

I have never seen a file extension that looks like the first 50 files here . The only extension I recognize is .rar file. So my question is: how do I extract/open these files in the folder?

Thank you!

That's a scene release. All you need to do is extract the .rar file with stuffit expander or unrarX and you will have your file.

Thanks to Theo and everyone else for their help. I extracted the .rar and it worked perfectly. :)
