how do I find serial number for individual products in iWork 09

Hello,
I am a very new user of a Mac (I just purchased this machine a week ago!)

I also purchased the dvd box set of iWork 09 from Amazon.com. I received it and deleted the download version, installed the dvd version. I went to the apple.com/register place and registered the box set. Now when I try to open a program (pages) it pops up a box asking for the registration number, which the box number that apple.com took, doesn't work!

How do I find/get a registration number? With MS products it was in the box! I need to start working with pages and numbers pretty soon since I do a fair amount of revisions at home and email them back and forth.

Any helpful ideas?

The boxed versions of iWork don't need a serial, what you are seeing is left over from the iWork demo you had installed.
Go to Macintosh HD > Library > Application support > and delete the iWork09 folder.
Then go and reinstall iWork from the DVD.
