I no longer require BOOT CAMP on my MacBook Pro. O/S is Mojave.

Everything I needed in Windows under BOOT CAMP has been copied to a new Windows 10 laptop.

So how do I safely remove BOOT CAMP and restore everything on the HD to the Mac O/S?

Thanks!

Question regarding step 6:

Do one of the following:

(1) If your Mac has a single internal disk, click Restore.

(2) If your Mac has multiple internal disks, select the Windows disk, select “Restore disk to a single macOS partition,” then click Continue.

My MacBook Pro HD is a single 1TB. The Boot Camp portion (Windows) of the 1TB is about 106GB. The rest is Mac O/S.

I'm assuming that option #1 is what I'm looking to accomplish?

Just want to be certain!!

Thanks

Attached is a snapshot of where I am. This after following Boot Camp to delete the Windows "section". Slider will NOT move any more to the right.

Windows has been deleted and what remains in its place is apparently blank space.

How can I recover that space to make the HD completely the MAC O/S?

If you run the BootCamp Assistant again it should give you the option to remove the Windows partition.

Do you have all the important data on the Mac side backed up, either by Time Machine? Clone? Or drag & drop? If so, you should wipe the drive completely, by booting from a completely separate drive (clone if you have one). This would be the fastest (& easiest) method to get the results you want.

Or, make a macOS bootable USB installer, https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372, and boot from that.

Rebooted several times with no change. Even did a complete shutdown and a start with no change.

Usually no need to reboot. Try the following:
1. If your Mac is trying to boot into Windows, hold down the Option key immediately after the boot chime. Select the Mac partition and let the system boot. If your Mac is booting to macOS normally let it boot till you get to the Destop (Finder).
2. Go to the Utilities folder and launch BootCamp Assistant.
3. You should be presented with an option to delete the Windows partition. If not post back.

Windows has apparently been deleted from the computer. Option key only has Mac O/S selection.

Also, FWIW I did First Aid twice with no issues.
