How to make an automated keyboard stroke script (Diablo 3)

So I've been playing Diablo 3, and I wanted to make a script/macro that basically spams "234".
I want to be able to activate and end this script with 1 key combination.

I've already tried Keyboard Maestro, which works fairly good, but I still have to spam 1 button.

Another program I tried was Automator, where I would record these key strokes, but I can't get this to repeat, and start with 1 key combination.

If anyone has experience with this, help would be greatly appreciated

And someone would be interested in assisting you to spam anything because...?

That word has a particularly nasty connotation in any well run forum.

It's not meant to advertise or anything... It's for a build that requires a lot of button smashing.

Now i need to spam 1, 2 and 3 as fast and as much as I can, in order for the build to work.
This can be done a lot easier via macro's, but I don't know how I can make these on mac.

(Blizzard's policy states this is allowed, btw ...)
