Sorry if this topic has been posted before, I did a quick search and could see anything.

I have an issue with iCloud where files are constantly "waiting to upload", any ideas how to make them upload.

Also when I open a file from iCloud it asks me which copy, iMac or MacBook, shouldn't they be kept ion sync when altered?

Not really that happy with iCloud lately and looking at moving to dropbox as it seems much more efficient.

Thanks

You shouldn't have any to do anything to make the upload happens. New files and updates to existing files should get uploaded on their own. How is your Internet connection?

I have high speed broadband, should be no issues with connection.

Tried the start up and shut down, sign out then back in.

Will browse the links you oassed on, thanks.

I don't know if this might help fix things:

Otherwise, maybe have a look at some of the hits with a web search on 'mac iCloud "waiting to upload" for example:

Have you tried a shutdown and then startup???

No. Can't do anything for a few days now but thinking of emptying the drive folder and then put them back
