Imac early 2009 - Windows 10 drivers

Hello,

I have an Imac early 2009.

Even if Boot Camp does not support Win 10, I managed to install it on another dual boot partition.

Everything works normally except for the fact that I can't find the drivers to operate my keyboard for the Brightness and Sound part.

Do you have any info to help me?

Boot Camp is what allows you to normally partition a Mac and has the drivers necessary to run another OS with proper support. If Boot Camp doesn't support Windows 10, then no drivers are there for that, so you will likely be missing some functionality.

I guess be glad what you are missing are these simple things as opposed to the networking system or display drivers.

You can likely change brightness of the screen from Sys Prefs and the sound is controllable from the menu bar on top.

Thanks, but I don't have the right keyboard driver for sound and display, it doesn't work. The brightness of the Imac seems to be idependente from Windows

You're never going to get Windows 10 to work right on a 2009 iMac when using Boot Camp. You'll have a lot better luck running Windows 7 from Boot Camp, or if Windows 10 is a must, you can try running it from a virtual machine. Although, with an older iMac I'm not sure which virtual software is compatible.

The other option is to search for drivers independently from Boot Camp. That sometimes will work for video and audio drivers. No guaranty though.

Are you using the Apple keyboard? Maybe you can find an older driver version, and it will still work with win 10?
