Is it possible to install/upgrade my software without OS X asking for my admin password every time?

Thanks.

Yes. You can log into the GUI login prompt as root.

Once you do, you can install software without being asked for the admin password.

Be advised that plenty of people will tell you this is something you should never do - but this is a solution to the problem you posted.

You have to enable the root use to be able to do whatever you want without being prompted for the password. Read more at Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X, but know that this is usually not a good thing to do.

Being asked for the admin password is a good security measure and should tell you that a program wants to install something and you can allow it. If a malware was on your machine, as root it would just install..

If you're being asked for a password, it means that files have to be written to parts of the filesystem that you don't have permission to. This is a good thing - permissions are there for a reason. So, as Raz0rEdge noted, you can get around it but it's really not a good idea.
