Is it possible to rename Desktop names?

Is it possible to change the name of the Desktop1, Desktop2, etc?

It isn't possible natively within macOS itself, however TotalSpaces2 can do that and more for you for $12..

Looks like they are basically removing the protection that macOS has in place to prevent apps from playing with the most in-depth parts of the OS. The procedure is fairly well documented, but its your choice whether to take it on.. I couldn't find any other apps that do this with a quick Google search and I'm thinking if one needs this to be done, they might all..

Perhaps you will think me cheeky for asking, but why do you want to rename them?

As renaming isn't native to Mac OS, any solution is bound to bring potential risks.

Even though I never use it, it seems like like the developers left out something rather obvious and has been asked for since its inception.
