Sorry for the typo in the title.

I was replacing the keyboard yesterday, but I struggled a bit when reconnecting the LVDS, and now I have a white screen of death so I am afraid I damaged it.

Welcome to our forums.

It does appear that you damaged the cable connector. Like Lisa stated, that connector and socket is fragile and easily damaged. You very likely need a new one. You can purchase it from ifixit while you're looking up the instructions.

Got to agree with what Charlie & Lisa said. Cable looks damaged.

This area specifically:

I will have to start searching for a replacement, thanks for the guidance.

Let us know how things turn out.

You should be able to find a replacement cable there in Mexico. Some US suppliers will not ship outside of the US. Any authorized Apple repair service should have access to parts and sell you one.

Sure thing. I will post photos of the replacement process to document all the suffering I´m about to endure.

That would be awesome! Looking forward to it.:)

Hopefully the process won't be too difficult. If you do run into some difficultly...please post here first what the difficulty is. Sometimes using the proper special tool...and/or the right technique can help avoid any further issues.:)
