What is the Login Options+ App and how did its get loaded into my iMac? Is it safe? Helpful? Or problematic? It just got loaded a while ago, but I was able to turn it off. Should I just delete it? Keep it?
It's in the General>Login items, where it ks allowed to run in the background. I did switch it off until I know what's going on.

Is it from Logitech? For your mouse or keyboard?

As Bob suggested, do you have a Logitech mouse or other device? I googled 'logi options+' and found the website below (LINK) as a top hit - take a look to see if the info might apply? Good luck - Dave

It's a 3rd party app that you installed. You need it if you have any Logitech devices like keyboards or mice.

Well to be fair, you might need it if you want to take advantage of additional features on your Logitech device. As you already have it I'd be tempted to see what it can do. If you don't need any of the extra features just turn it off.
Unless your really cramped for space I'd keep it, just in case.

I have a Logi tech lighted Keyboard (apple doesn't make one) so that must be what that is for,,,thing is I've been using the keyboard for about a month before this thing showed up. It's an MX Keys Mini for Mac.

I have (had) Logitech mouse and keyboard, and tried installing the app, and it never installed correctly, and it would seem other have had issues with it. Both my mouse and keyboard worked perfectly well without it.

I have the MX Keys keyboard as well. And no, it absolutely would not just show up on its own. You have to download the application and install it. I also have the MX Keys mouse and have Logi+ Options installed to determine how the mouse behaves. I have not modified any settings on the keyboard though.
