I'm experiencing some unpleasant lag with my current mouse. It's really bothering me. It's just really not accurate at all....

I didn't install any software...just plug and play.....any suggestions to making this mouse respond better with my mac?

Thanks!

Have the MX Revolution. I installed the Logitech software with mine when I got it. Have had no issues with it.

Thanks Bob for confirming that. I have a MX900 and was not sure if the Logitech software would work with the MX Revolution or not so I did not post.

I don't mean to thread hijack here, but I was looking at the MX Revolution mouse with the MX 5500 keyboard, but it does not sound like it will work with a mac. Has anyone used this?

What I am looking for is a good bluetooth keyboard and mouse that I can use with my macbook pro and my windows desktop, any recommendations?

Logitech does not have a keyboard at this time with drivers for the Mac, Win & bluetooth.

Not to say you couldn't get one working, at least minimally without their drivers.

The MX Revolution and VX Revolution look like they would be some good choices, but neither of these come in bluetooth (except the MX Revolution bundled with the MX5500 keyboard). If I were to get either of these (non bluetooth) I would have to have to use the wireless dongle that comes with it, there is not one built into the macbook pro, correct?

You can get either the MX or VX Revolution by itself. There are quite a few around here using the MX. It is quite a comfortable mouse with a pretty nice feature set and lots of buttons to program. The MX does require using it's dongle.

There are also quite a few that are using the DeNovo keyboards. You might want to look at them. Although, Logitech is making 2 separate keyboards, one for Win and one for Mac. My guess is that any of them would work as a basic keyboard on the other OS and just lose the extra functionality that's gained with their drivers.
