you can do it if u use boot camp and install windows on it. this is what i did and it works great. i dont now about programs that let you use windows apps on the mac bit they seem to slow things way down in my opinion.

also just looked at the website and i would think that if it can play online then it would see alobby over the interent. i dont think (and i am just speculating) that it would not really matter on the OS. i dont know much though about lan partys with different OS's.

if the game is supported on both platforms, then you can play no problem ... I've played Unreal Tournament 2004 on my Mac with a friend who ran it on Windows .. works fine

but keep in mind Mac OS X is a different operating system so you can't install your old games you used to have on your Windows machine, so the wy to go is Boot Camp, where it's just like running Windows on any other computer

I have Warcraft III and Age of Mythology that run native on my Intel MacBook. When I try to play a LAN game with the desktop PC running XP with my friend however, the game doesn't show up. If I lower myself to Vista's standards and use my mum's laptop it works fine. Does the Mac OS and the Windows OS not want to communicate? I don't wish to put Windows on my Mac via boot camp either, I bought a Mac to use Leopard, not Windows.

You can get Age Of Empires 3 for mac (without using boot camp) You should be able to join a LAN game (hosted by PC's) using your mac. Its worked for me with games like ''Nexiuz'' and ''Blockland'' They run fine.

Warcraft III hmmm, check your network settings, firewalls, internet security all that stuff.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, if you're hosting, you might need to forward your ports.

How about if you use software like Hamachi? GGclient is not available for MAC.

make sure you are both running the same version. If they are different versions, even by on .1 they won't see each other and you won't be able to play.

uhh, well i guess its possible with hamachi too just you have a lot of configuration to go trough i guess, I've used hamachi for basic file transfer and it worked okay.

Not sure if it would work with games but i can't see any reason to why it would not work... Just depends on the game perhaps =\
