Mac OS X 10.4.11 & Protrainer 5 software

Ok I don't know if this is the right forum, but hopefully it is.
I bought a Polar Sport watch RS800g3 the software to connect thic watch is Protrainer 5 and the CD installation is For PC. I asked already the company (straight in Finland) if they produce any software for Mac. The answer was NO The do not support Mac as on operating system.
The thing is they told me that it works on Windows emulating software on your MAC, it does allow the transfer of data.

What should i do?? Buy a Virtual Pc and copy of Windows?

it's quite expensive...... Is there any other options?? PLEASE HELP....

I need this software of transmission the database from watch to my Mac.....
How can i do it...???

Polar ProTrainer/PPP SW compatibility with Mac

I've been a Windows user for well over 10 years now and made the switch to Mac - yesterday. I've got an RS800CX w/ G3 and plan to use it inside Parallels Desktop using the instructions from Polar above.

There's always the option of using Boot Camp if you don't want to virtualise your Windows environment.

Hi to all,
I wanted to buy a polar RS800 CXG3, but when i ask if pro trainer 5 was supported by mac i was told no.:
I did allot of research into the watch i needed, the watch is important to me.
And i am very disappointed that it is not, is there any other way that i can use this watch without using windows.
I have a new imac, and did not want to connect my old computer.
This would be expensive and i don't know if i could transfer data.

Disappointed and stuck.
Any help would be appreciated.
