I have BetterTouchTool installed (allows me program my mouse keys) and I want it run on startup (put on menu bar) but not open the entire program.

I believe I had this setting and some point and then something changed I have not been able to figure out how to go back to having a program run on startup in the background. What I have tried to do is go under System Prefs>Users & Groups and place a check mark in the hide column for BetterTouchTool but the application window still pops up at startup.

Does anyone have any specific history with BetterTouchTool or generally how to have programs run in the background on startup?
