my macbook pro does not detected bootable usb

hey guys i got a used macbook pro and i wanted to do a fresh install because it didnt have any operating system , anyway i made a bootable flash drive using transmac and i used al capitan os .dmg after finishing with the transmac copying to the flash drive when i attach it to my mac it does not boot it does not show the flash drive only the recovery option , i can see the flash drive in the disk utility but it does not appear in the boot up section .. i used other os's but same problem any soultion please ?

After reading your post the first question I have is where the El Capitan .dmg file came from? When El Capitan comes from the Mac App Store it's not distributed as a .dmg. If the download is from the App Store and the download is legit Transmac is not the tool of choice.

To make a bootable USB of any Mac OS X/Mac OS/macOS, you need to use a Mac.

Do you know what model and year the MBP is? Did you try to boot into Recovery?

1. Transmac don't work.

2. Suggest not using pirated copies of the operating system.

3. Establish an Apple ID if you do not have one and download directly from the App Store.

4. After download completes, then make the bootable USB thumb drive using DiskmakerX or similar.
