I use the Apple version of Outlook. Recently my Sent Mail Folder has disappeared. I have used the search feature and have also gone through every file in my mail app to see if I goofed and put it in an incorrect category. Nope, nothing shows up. CompIicating matters is the fact that my email carrier uses POP, so I cannot sync my iPad, iPhone and iMac. I am using an IMAC 2021, OS Ventura 13.5.2. If I go to a backup file, I have a Seagate external drive, will it have my missing info? Can I strip out just the "Sent Mail folder" info? Thanks for your help

I'm sorry it's taken so long for a reply.

You could try this:

Open Mail app and use the Mouse cursor hover alongside "Favourites" on the far left. You may have to move the cursor towards the right, but in line with favourites.

Now you should see a "+" sign, adjacent to which will be an arrowhead. The arrowhead should be pointing downwards. If it's pointing sidewards, click on it to make it point downwards.

That may reveal the "missing" Sent Folder.

Worth a try and please post back your result.

Thank you for your response. I tried your suggestion but was not successful in finding the folder/sent mailbox.

I am going to download a screenshot of my mail set up I don't know if that will help.

I will do that. I hope this is viewable, if not give me some guidance, please. I took a screenshot of the page, saved it to my documents and then uploaded it from there.

Thank you for the help.

Is the mailbox missing if you log in to the actual email account using webmail with your browser???

It would seem it is missing from your favourites, it should still be there under the main mailbox, and you can then add it to your favourites.

Maybe you could find a solution here:
Emails sent from Outlook on Mac not showing up in sent folder of other devices

Or go through some of these hits here that may have a solution for you:

Thank you everyone for your help. I have found the missing file. I went back and followed Ian's suggestion: I clicked the + next to favorites - then when it asked for "Mailbox to add," I finally noticed there was a drop-down menu and found my "All Sent " folder there. I don't know how I put it there but I now know how to retrieve it. Once again Thanks.

I have found the missing file.

Thanks for your feedback and what you did to fix your problem, and it's great that you were able to fix things using Ian's suggestion.

Well done on your fix-it suggestion solution Ian, but we had never heard of the "chuffed" expression, but my built-in Mac dictionary solved that problem.

Anyway, I'm chuffed that you were able to fix their problem for them. ;-)
