Hi, can you tell me what software works with MBP for editing MP3 audio tracks? I use n-Track Studio but have found I am not able to save edited tracks as MP3. It requires the use of Lame Encoder but I don't know how to use it even after downloading.

You might want to try Audacity. Not the friendliest app, but it is free and works quite well.

The current release of Audacity is 2.4.2 (June 2020). As far as I know, it works with Catalina. And speaking of which, you're behind with Catalina since the latest version is 10.15.6.
