I'm not sure what this is. I have this window pop- up several times saying something about allowing Application "NETserver.app" to accepting networking connections with choices "Deny" or "Allow". Unfortunately, the window briefly appears for a few seconds and disappears before i finish reading the whole message.

I wasn't doing anything in particular except browsing through Safari. I'm not sure whether if it's related to the Safari browser freezing often.

This issue is happening on my MacBook Pro 17' 2009. I want to know what this Netserver.app is and is it safe?

Too many devices to list
Do you have a Brother printer by any chance (see here)? If so, it would appear that it allows you to scan wirelessly from your printer.
