Since the latest Safari update to Version 9.0 (10601.1.56.2) the ctrl-click context menu for tabs shows:

Close Tab
Close Other Tabs
Move Tab to New Window

and seems to have lost New Tab, Reload Tab, Reload All Tabs etc.

Has anyone any clues as to what might have happened?

I seldom use tabs but FWIW, my Safari 9.0 in Mavericks shows with no tabs and one tab using the ctrl-click (right-click) on the tab bar area:

Reload page (tab) is still there (command-r, just as it has always been). New tab is still there, in the file menu for those who use a mouse to invoke it, and available as command-t just as it always was (or the + symbol on the right-hand-side of the tab bar). You seem to be right about "Reload all tabs," but that needs more investigation to say definitively.

Yes, typical really, 'Reload All Tabs' is the one I use from that menu, using the direct commands for the others.
Oh well, I might upgrade to El Capitan soon, it might only be a Yosemite bug.
The full menu certainly works for Yosemite in Safari 8.0.8, as I checked it on a friend's machine today.

My post was based on Safari 9 in El Capitan, so no -- an update won't bring back "reload all tabs." That said, it is quite possible that there is a way to do it that has been moved and not "rediscovered" yet, rather than actually removed. Have you tried a search engine inquiry on "reload all tabs in Safari 9" or "reload all tabs in Safari El Capitan"?

Yes, I glanced at a couple of results, perfunctorily. There did not seem to be an obvious solution out there.
I have since submitted feedback on the Apple product feedback page.

Chas_m's suggestion of a Google search led me to another forum (gasp) which led to this extension. I've only had limited time to test it but this seems to work.

Thanks, Sly and chas_m.
That extension seems to do the job.
One must presume that Apple have dispensed with the original command unless one hears otherwise.

Glad to help. Hope that works out for you. I think I used to have that extension installed. I know I've used the Apple restore all command before.

It's quite possible that, like perhaps when you first used the application because the "reload all tabs" was missing, this is a temporary thing and will be restored later. Perhaps that's why you stopped using it last time.

in my case, I rarely used that reload all tabs function. To be honest with you until I went searching for a solution last night, I hadn't really noticed that it was missing.

And actually I don' think I would have ever noticed as I hardly ever even use tabs when Safari browsing!!

I usually browse with Javascript disabled, but if I forget, reloading all tabs can again inhibit all the bouncing ‘stuff’ that one gets.
