Just found an Olympus xD – Picture Card (256 MB). It must have come from a long-defunct (and long-lost) camera. It won’t fit into my present Panasonic camera DMC-TZ36. The card from the latter fits into the Anker hub that clips into the two sockets on the side of my MPB 16-inch 2019. However, this recently-found Olympus xD – Picture Card (256 MB) does not fit. It would be interesting to see what’s on this card.
What kind of adaptor do I need to view its contents? Thanks in advance for comments.

OK and good point! This does not fit into the Anker adaptor that plugs into the two sockets on the side of my MPB.

A picture of the connector on the end would be nice.

A search found this article:

But the bad news is that in part it says:

Card format is proprietary to Fujifilm and Olympus, just as the Memory Stick format is to Sony. No public documentation was available (see below for reverse-engineering results).

It was replaced by the SD card, which was not proprietary. I did a quick look for an XD reader and came up empty, but maybe you can keep searching. Whatever you find will probably be at least 10-12 years old.

I think your best bet is a cheap Olympus camera that's XD compatible on eBay or the like, then connect to your mac with a USB cable
