OSStatus error 9459

Trying to 'Export' a slide show from iPhoto to iTunes, I get a failure message. I can't find any reference to it on the forum. Can anyone help please?

Sounds weird, I know, but try this:

Go the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Energy Saver, and set your display sleep time to never and try exporting again.

Thanks 6string. That fixed my problem.

No probs.... you can't have your Mac or your display sleep during the export process, same applies with external displays connected.
