Hello all again. This problem with external hard drives and NTFS is really starting to **** me off:Shouting::Grimmace: ! Anyways...i should continue with my issue.

I got connected to my imac running high sierra, a 4tb external hard drive NTFS and a usb stick 64gb also NTFS. On the paragon app, on the left, there are my : 1) 4tb which is under NTFS volumes and also green light 2) Bootcamp read only - yellow light which is ok 3) Macintosh HD - green light 4) my usb stick 64gb - yellow light READ ONLY ( last 3 volumes are under Other Volumes ). Also i d like to point out that the 4tb ext.hard drive in the paragon app has ticked "Ignore Ownership" and also in finder -> Get info -> Sharing & Permissions : "You have custom access" whereas the 64gb usb dont have that option for "Ignore Ownership" and in sharing & permissions : "You can only read".

Any help? What should i do ?

Well, you didn't state what the problem is, so I don't know what to tell you. From your description, ParagonNTFS is giving you access to the 4tb drive formatted NTFS. I presume you want that. You also said that not having full access to the Bootcamp partition was ok, so that's not it. Based on that analysis, I presume the issue is with the 64GB USB stick? Or is it something else? Does it have to be formatted NTFS? Can you pick something else that works with both macOS and Windows, like FAT or exFAT or FAT32?

Again, what, exactly, is it that you want to accomplish?

My main issue is that while i got paragon ntfs installed on my mac, i cant write files to my usb stick because its ntfs ( but i can on my 4tb ). I use ntfs because i can use them also in windows and linux and also because in other formats ( dont remember which ) i cant transfer more than 2gb ( single file ) or f.e. be accessed by a TV while i plug it. NTFS is just easy thats why i dont want to pick something else

Other formats can usually be accessed by your TV, if that's the issue. exFAT, FAT32, for example. I would experiment with those to see if they work.

However, if you want to stick with NTFS, try reinstalling PargonNTFS and make sure you have the latest version. I use ParagonNTFS and have zero issues with it.

You can also, after reinstalling, try formatting the USB Stick with ParagonNTFS.

Remember, if you try formatting the USB stick, everything on it will be erased, so if there is something there, copy it off somewhere before formatting.

the main issue isnt with the tv, its that while i can read/write my 4tb ntfs i cannot read/write my 64gb usb stick OR thats a new i cant read/write my 1.5tb external hard drive. I already formatted with paragon the 64gb usb and still doesnt work. Also i got the latest version.
