Sorry, never tried to upload a graphic file; haven't come across anything like this process!

Who knows what this is and why it pops up incessantly?
NO WAY will I give the info 'required'!!

What device are you using, what OS, and what steps do you take to reproduce the issue?

You can see my device specs below, left. As I stated, this dialogue appears without me 'taking steps'.
I believe they call it a 'pop-up', for which I have installed a blocker- which does not stop it appearing.

While I saw the specs under your ID, I didn't want to assume that was the machine in question.

There 'must' be steps involved to reproduce the pop-up. Power on, log in, .... then what?

Are you by chance using a VPN to post from Thailand? That message appears to be the type of VPN message you get when projecting your location.

YES.Turn off the VPN & see if the dialogue still appears?

Why these things appear with absolutely no explanation is highly suspicious.
Many sites are blocked in Thailand.Criticism of royalty [lese majeste] for instance can mean a long prison term.
Some poor fool got 60 YEARS- reduced to only 30 for a guilty plea!!

Looks like Chrome is configured to use a proxy server. You'd need to disable that in order to get the prompt to go away.

Agreed. Highly presumptuous of Google, eh?

Not at all. You're using a VPN, and the installation and setup of that software is most likely how Chrome (or your networking configuration in general) was configured to use a proxy.

Hasn't happened with any other browser, nor other VPN,of which I have used several. I don't appreciate being invaded without explanation...
