My mac computer says its disabled and to try again in 60 minutes and when the timer runs out it stays locked. I tried going into my options booting but i need a bios password which i do not know. Is it possible to reinstall mac from a usb (if i take out the sdd/hdd) on another mac? or get pass the bios password so i can reinstall it on the same mac? please help D:

Not true as there are no BIOS in a Mac. Do you mean you have activated FileVault and it is asking for a password? Precise model and operating system will also help.

It is a 2015 Macbook Pro A1502 When i open it, it takes a minute to load then it goes into a white screen and in text it says

"Your computer is disabled. Try again in 60 minutes"

"Sleep" "Restart" "Shutdown"

im trying to reinstall Mac OS X from a usb but when i hold down the alt/option it asks for a password and i dont know it. Im trying to reinstall mac so i can fix this?

So this computer is not yours, then?

It is mine, i recently bought this off of a friend because the battery was dead and all i needed was a charger. I asked him why it is doing that but he doesn't know his son was using the computer the entire time

It sounds like the 2015 MacBook Pro you bought has been disabled with a Firmware Password. Ask whoever you purchased it from to give you the password. As long as a Firmware Password is in effect, you can not load from USB. As a matter of fact, you can't do anything unless you know that password.

Not that I distrust your friend but something is a little on the nose. If you take the MBP to an Apple Store for assistance they will no doubt run the serial number against a list of reported stolen goods so triple check with your friend to save embarrassment first.

No way around it. However, here's what you can do:

Ask your friend to give you a legal bill of sale mentioning the serial number of the machine, your name, his name, and so forth. Take that legal bill of sale to an Apple store and ask the genius bar to remove the password. Apple techs are the only ones who can remove a firmware password. And they will not do it unless you can prove the machine is legally yours.
