Whenever contemplating an OS upgrade...one important thing to do is take inventory of the apps installed...and verify if the version of each app installed is compatible with the new OS version. I don't think many users do this...especially if they have a lot of apps installed (it can be a lot of work).

Definitely a great idea to do this at least with the more expensive apps someone may have installed...since upgrading to a newer app version can be expensive.

As far as this app (Tubeoffline)...I would verify if the version installed is compatible with Catalina...and if not...see if a newer Catalina compatible version is available...and upgrade.

Is that an extension, or just a website?

Catalina is much more secure, so you may need to give it permission to download in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy.

It's a website. I suspect Bob is correct in that you will need to give it permissions as he indicated above.
