Safari won't open google maps

iMac, 4GB, 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3, Snow Leopard
In the last few days, Safari on my iMac has begun refusing to open Google Maps. Never had a problem before and I can open Google Maps no problem from Firefox.

I have attached the error message I keep getting

any ideas :\

Moved to proper forum. You had it posted in the mobile apps and iOS forum. It belongs here in OS X Apps.....

Make sure the URL for Google Maps is showing up correctly in your Safari bookmark. Or try going to Google Maps from the Google home page. Also, do you have an Ad blocking extension installed in Safari? If you do, turn it off and try again.
