SENT emails not showing on android phone ( OUTLOOK app )

Hi Folks

I am having a problem with some e-mails that are sent from my iMac not showing on my android phone when looking in Outlook mail app.

I have 2 other email accounts that are IMAP and these seem to be working ok ( the sent mails from these IMAP accounts are showing in the sent folder on the android Outlook app correctly )

However the problem is on an account that is Microsoft Exchange ( it is still an oulook.com.au address )

If I send the mail from the phone then I can see them fine in the sent folder on the mobile Outlook app, but if they are sent from my iMac then they send ok but they don't arrive in the sent folder on the mobile.

They used to work fine but stopped in March 2023.



Does anyone have any suggestions?

Tricky situation, but I can suggest something, because I've got some experience of working with Outlook. First, I'd suggest checking if your settings are set to save copies of your sent emails. If that's okay, the issue might be related to syncing between the iMac and your Android phone.

Try refreshing your mail account on your Outlook app. Go to Settings > Tap your Exchange account > Reset Account. Be careful, as it'll remove all your local data but it won't delete anything from the server.

If none of these work, try removing and re-adding your Exchange account on both devices.

I have faced this problem. This happened because the syncing was stopped. You should enable the automatic syncing on your mobile.
