Hello,
I downloaded the new update to Mac Sequoia and generally have been very pleased with it except for a couple of 'niggles'.

My main problem is with my Mac Mini running Sequoia in that my Wacom Intous Pro Medium tablet isn't working now; well by now I mean that I have had it working a couple of times but then on re-starting the Mac Mini it doesn't work again. I've uninstalled the driver and re-installed it several times and still no luck; I've checked under Accessibility and Input Monitoring and it's set up correctly as it was under Sonoma.

Apart from the problem with my Wacom tablet & a couple of problems getting CleanMyMac X working all is well.

Just hoping that I get a response from Wacom and, possibly, an update from Apple and all will be well.

There so many feature of Sequoia that I like that I can't list them all here.

I hope your experience of Sequoia has been fruitful; or has it?

It looks like Wacom needs to better support Sequoia. That's on them and not Apple. That's why Apple releases their OS' in the Developer program so that developers get early access to the OS and can ensure that their apps work properly such that the migration works flawlessly later on.

And as far as CleanMyMac goes, you should get rid of that spam quickly. Hope you didn't pay any money for that junk.

Well, I've seen posts in another forum from at least one happy user of CleanMyMac in all its versions. They say that if you understand what it does and how to use it, it does its job well. I've never tried it myself.

that if you understand what it does and how to use it,
Exactly. It does more harm than good largely, I guess, because the "you & me" crowd want something that works without the danger of losing data or corrupting Hard Drives etc.

+1!!! Ditto.

Like most such utilities, make sure you understand what they are actually going to do and if not sure don't run that particular feature, and don't even think about running such utilities without having a proper working backup.

The only issue I've encountered is when running a VPN messaging does not work! Turn it off and all is well. I'm sure there will be a patch soon.

It works perfectly for me with a VPN. Not a problem for Apple, but something in your setup. Just tested it.
