Shortcut for "Paste Special" to Retain Formatting

I frequently copy text from a web page to Excel. The only way this works so that the web page formatting pastes into the correct Excel cells is to use “Paste Special” and select “Text”.

I do this step about 10 times a day and I’m trying to find a shortcut or macro that will allow me to do this in one step instead of two. Any ideas?

Looks like an Applescript to do what you're looking for..... i'll be keeping a pdf for reference as this kind of shortcut creation is useful to know (but i'm used to the very easy old macro recorder method....)
