I lost my home Wi-Fi so I opened Airport Utility, clicked on Airport Time Capsule and got this message.

DEVICE NOT FOUND
Jerry's Airport Time Capsule was previously part of your network. Check that it is still in range of your network and is plugged into a power outlet. Forgetting this device removes it from this network.
Followed by a dialog box that says Forget.

There is no green light by the Airport TC image, it is the yellow triangle. On my iPhone with Airport utility, it is just grayed out.

I rebooted my cable modem and my Internet and Wi-Fi are working fine but I still can't access my Airport Time Capsule. I tried a soft reset and the reset button won't work. I've used a paperclip, ink pen, and ice pick. Nothing happens, light is still green. I'm still working for now but sooner or later I am going to have to access this thing. Any idea what is going on?

Using iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) OS-X El Capitan, latest updates installed.

If you click on the yellow triangle do you get any error message(s)?

I think I fixed this once before by unplugging the power to the Time Capsule, wait about thirty seconds, then reconnect power the Time Capsule. I don't like to do that because it can cause problems if the disk drive is being written to.

Just that same message. Everything was working up until I lost my internet and rebooted my modem. Now this. I guess I'll try the unplug option. Thanks.

Congrats Jerry.:) The 15-30 second unplugged reset is one of the first troubleshooting steps most electronics customer service representatives have consumers try.;)

You're welcome. I usually don't like that method but sometimes it is the only thing left to do.
